What is weighing drift?

A gradual change of the displayed weight over time or temperature, without any change of the load.

Is drift the same as instability?

No. Instability is a fast, erratic reading; drift is a slow, progressive shift. Both need a different diagnosis.

Can drift be corrected by zeroing?

Zeroing hides it temporarily. The cause must be found and corrected so the measurement stays reliable.
